Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?

Floral Street products contain no Animal Derived Ingredients (ADI) such as bovine, caprine, porcine, or ovine species, or any other animal product. At all.

We're certified cruelty-free and vegan, and PETA and Leaping Bunny approved, too.

What ingredients do you use? Do you use phthalates or other chemicals?

At Floral Street, vegan, responsible and carefully-sourced ingredients are paramount. We work with perfume house Robertet to source both natural and synthetic fragrance ingredients and create certified vegan and cruelty-free perfumes.

We avoid phthalates, a chemical used to increase the longevity of fragrances, as we don’t deem them necessary and are wary of their impact on our environment and waterways. All of our products are also free from polycyclic and nitro musks (due to environmental concerns), sulphates and parabens – though we know that studies show the risks of using these ingredients in small concentrations are low.

How will I know if this fragrance will suit me?

Well, this is all part of the fun. At Floral Street, we believe suitability in fragrance is sort of irrelevant: it’s more about what you like than what suits you. Plus, we’re all for the ever-changing impulses of self-expression. One day you may be in more of a Ylang Ylang Espresso mood, while the next day, you may be all about Neon Rose. We also offer a range of Discovery Sets so you can explore our scents to your heart's content.

How should I apply my fragrance?

Underwear before socks? Socks before underwear? It’s entirely your call. And it’s the same with perfume. There is one cardinal sin we warn against though. Pressing your wrists together after application can disrupt the scent, causing it to fade faster. Just spritz and waft. Sure, there are some tricks to making your fragrance last – make sure your skin is well hydrated for one – but honestly, the way you apply your perfume is as unique to you as the way you apply your lipstick. And we like it that way.
